About
Verora GmbH/AG is a Swiss farmers’ cooperative in the Zug canton that processes green waste, tree and shrub cuttings into humus compost, Terra Preta, quality wood chips, and EBC-certified biochar via a PYREG pyrolysis plant in Neuheim running since 2012. The cooperative’s primary business is agricultural green-waste valorization for its member farms; biochar with CO2 sink certificates is one of several product lines. Verora won the Swiss federal Watt d’Or 2022 for its biochar pioneering work.
