Storegga (holding company of Pale Blue Dot Energy) is a UK-based independent developer of carbon capture, storage and hydrogen projects, best known as lead developer of the Acorn CCS project in Aberdeenshire and a DAC partnership with Carbon Engineering. In December 2025 Storegga announced a structured sales process for its portfolio of assets, including its 30% stake in Acorn, after a strategic review concluded a new long-term owner was better placed to advance the capital-intensive project.
