About
SeaO2 is a Dutch TU Delft spin-off founded in 2021 offering direct ocean capture (DOC) technology for scalable carbon removal. Its containerised pilot ‘Project Swell’ has a 25 tCO2/year capacity at the Afsluitdijk in the Netherlands, following its 2023 Project Ripple proof-of-concept; a larger Project Breaker is planned for 2028 to deliver carbon credits commercially.
