Planetary delivered the first-ever independently verified carbon removal credits from Ocean Alkalinity Enhancement — 625.6 tonnes of CO₂ — at its Halifax, Nova Scotia project site, purchased by Stripe, Shopify, and British Airways. Frontier signed a $31M offtake with Planetary; the process adds dissolved alkaline minerals like CaO or MgO to coastal surface waters, converting CO₂ into bicarbonate durably stored for over 10,000 years. In fall 2025 the company completed the world’s first successful dosing pilot in Virginia using a calcium byproduct.
