About

Planet Savers is a University of Tokyo spinout founded in July 2023, positioned as Japan’s first Direct Air Capture startup. It develops a zeolite-based CO2 adsorbent and an optimized DACCU (DAC + Carbon Utilization) recovery/concentration unit, backed by NEDO, Spiral Capital and JAFCO (¥250M seed in 2024). The company is targeting a 1 ton/day prototype and was selected for the Bosch Carbon Capture Startup Challenge 2025.
