Origen (Origen Power Limited) is a UK/US climate-technology company headquartered in Bristol developing limestone-based direct air capture. It closed a $13M Series A in January 2025 led by Barclays Climate Ventures (with Shell Ventures, Exascale, Elemental Impact, Hatch) and is building a 1,000 tpa demonstration at EERC in North Dakota while participating in the Pelican Gulf Coast DAC Hub with Shell and Mitsubishi.
