About
Orbital Materials is an AI-for-materials company founded in late 2022, headquartered in London with an R&D lab in Princeton, NJ. Its flagship commercial product is a data-center-integrated direct air capture (DAC) system using an AI-designed sorbent that operates on server waste heat. The company has active pilot partnerships with AWS (announced Dec 2024) and UK cloud provider Civo (April 2025) to deploy its carbon removal technology at partner data centers by end of 2025.
