About
Mote is a Los Angeles-based BECCS/BiCRS startup spun out of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory that gasifies woody waste into carbon-negative hydrogen while geologically sequestering CO2. Its flagship Bakersfield facility completed a FEL-2 study and received a DOE LPO Title 17 Part II invitation, with a second plant planned with SMUD in Sacramento.
