About

Flux is a Nairobi-based enhanced rock weathering startup spreading crushed basalt on farmland in Kenya while providing free rock-powder fertilizer to smallholder farmers. The company sold Africa’s first ERW carbon removal credits in 2024 (540 tons pre-sold to Milkywire via the CYNK platform) and is expanding to Cameroon (205,000-hectare maize project) and Nigeria.
