About
Carbyon is a Dutch DAC startup founded in 2019 as a spin-off from research institute TNO, positioning itself as a technology supplier rather than a project operator. In September 2025 the company unveiled Carbyon GO, its first outdoor DAC demonstrator, at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, and in July 2025 it became the first DAC project to receive the Dutch DEI+ subsidy from Topsector Energie and RVO. It targets a cost of €100 per tonne through speed, modularity and mass manufacturing.
