Carbon Removal AS is a Norwegian project development company focused exclusively on large-scale Direct Air Capture. Through its subsidiary NorDAC Kollsnes AS, it signed a July 2025 agreement with German DAC technology provider Phlair to develop what is billed as Europe’s first large-scale DAC and geologic storage project, starting at 60,000 tpa and scaling to 500,000 tpa, co-located with the Northern Lights CO2 storage terminal in Øygarden.
