About
Carbon Centric is a Norwegian carbon-capture developer founded in 2021 that builds, owns and operates modular capture plants at waste- and bio-incineration sites across the Nordics. Its first 10,000 tpa facility at รstfold Energi’s Rakkestad waste-to-energy plant began operations in September 2025 delivering food-grade CO2 to Linde Gas, while its flagship Kirkenรฆr BECCS project with Solรธr Bioenergi targets ~32,000 tpa of biogenic CO2 and is expected to begin issuing CDR credits from 2028.
