About

Carbon Capital is a Namibian bioeconomy company established in 2020 by Cirrus Capital and the Viridescent Trust, operating the Farm Gai Kaisa 159 biochar project near Grootfontein in partnership with Planboo. The project converts encroacher bush biomass into biochar and sustainable charcoal; it is registered on Puro.earth, holds a Sylvera A rating, and has delivered over 16,000 tonnes of certified biochar with offtake to buyers including Boeing.
