Bigadan A/S

About

Bigadan A/S is a Skanderborg-based Danish biogas developer and operator, majority-owned by Arjun Infrastructure Partners, that owns nine operational biogas facilities producing around 1.3 TWh of renewable energy annually. Through its Bioman subsidiary, it won a 2024 Danish NECCS tender to capture and permanently store 25,000 tonnes/year of biogenic CO2 from its Kalundborg Bioenergi plant, with injection via INEOS’s Project Greensand expected to begin in 2026. Biogas/biomethane production is the core business; BECCS is an adjacent add-on enabled by building a cryogenic CO2 liquefaction unit onto existing biogas upgrading.
