About

Atoco is a California-based deep-tech company founded in 2020 by Professor Omar Yaghi, inventor of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent organic frameworks (COFs), who was awarded the 2025 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Its solid-state carbon capture modules are designed to capture CO2 from ambient air and industrial emissions, and the company also develops atmospheric water harvesting solutions using the same reticular materials platform.
