About

AquaGreen is a Danish cleantech company that develops and sells HECLA® integrated steam-drying and pyrolysis systems, primarily for municipal wastewater sludge, producing biochar, renewable thermal energy, and carbon removal credits. The company has raised ~DKK 60M from Marubeni, Nordic Alpha Partners and others, has commercial plants operating in Denmark and Sweden, and signed a 2025 MoU with Alfa Laval for joint market development.
